We’re proud to support the Great Lakes Science Center, especially during milestone moments like their 50th Anniversary Splashdown Celebration. For this project, we provided full-service video production, from pre-production planning and story development to on-location filming and post-production editing. Our goal was to create a piece that didn’t just document a program—it brought the heart of it to life.
We helped GLSC highlight how their workshops spark curiosity, build confidence, and create lasting impact for students across the region.
How NWP Helped
This video tells the story of how the Great Lakes Science Center sparks curiosity and confidence in students through hands-on learning. At the heart of the piece are the center’s workshops—interactive sessions where kids dive into real-world science, building projects like working flashlights from scratch. These activities aren’t just fun—they build problem-solving skills, encourage exploration, and teach resilience through trial and error.
The video also highlights the center’s scholarship program, including funding from Cam Curiosity, which makes these workshops accessible to students from all backgrounds. By removing financial barriers, the program ensures that curiosity and opportunity go hand-in-hand.
Through candid footage and authentic voices, the piece shows how students grow—not just in what they learn, but in how they carry themselves. They’re given the space to make mistakes, try again, and succeed on their own terms—all in a safe, encouraging environment shaped by dedicated staff.
